Dry and Heavy is a reggae group I really enjoy listening to. Dry and Heavy is well known around the world but has its roots planted in Japan. Reggae from Japan might sound a little wierd but reggae is fast becoming popular around the world.

...Jazz...
Jazz...something I don't know much about but enjoy listening to. Just like any genre of music jazz has many artists to choose from and many styles along with them. There is traditional, big band/swing, bop, cool, mainstream, hard bop, progressive, fusion, and crossover jazz.
Like I said, theres lots of jazz to hear but I really enjoy listening to big band/swing. I'm really attracted to the brassy sound and off beats. A lot of big band music is instrumental which I also love. I do also like jazz with vocals from artists like Frank Sinatra, and Michael Buble.
Jazz and Reggae use the same set of instruments like bass, electric guitar, brass and woodwind section, piano, and drums. What is interesting is how different both genres sound despite using the same instruments. I think it would be pretty cool to see a jazz/reggae mix.

...Gentleman...
Tilman Otto a.k.a. Gentleman is a reggae artist from Germany. Backed by the Far East Band Gentleman sings songs like Dem Gone, Live It Up,Leave Us Alone, and more. In this video Gentleman preforms Fire Ago Bun Dem. I personally like this song for its breaks, transitions, and keyboard solo.
...Music...
This Blog is strictly about my favorite types of music and why I like Them. I enjoy all kinds of music but especially love Reggae and Jazz. I know a little about reggae but not much at all about jazz. I just know I like to listen to it. I'll look for my favorite reggae and jazz artists and post videos or music.
